Does investing sooner
actually win?

Put daily and biweekly dollar-cost averaging on equal footing. Same dollars. Same market. Every historical trading session.

03 · Methodology

A fair fight, by design.

01Equal-dollar budget

The selected annual contribution is prorated to the exact test window, then split across each strategy’s executions. Both invest the same total.

02Real trading calendar

Daily means every market session. A biweekly payday falling on a closure executes on the next available session.

03Explicit dividends

Cash distributions and share splits are processed on historical ex-dates. DRIP buys fractional shares at that session’s close; with DRIP off, dividends remain cash.

04Audited math

Automated invariants verify equal capital, flat-market conservation, whole-share cash, fee arithmetic, date ordering, and known fund inception dates.

Historical simulations are educational, not investment advice. Results depend on the selected assumptions and do not predict future returns.
